NAPA And Eagle Beverage Present Dig Safely NY Night This Friday July 13 At The Brewerton Speedway; Tony Stewart To Race At The Speedway July 18

BREWERTON, NY - July 8, 2012 (By Dave Medler) - This coming Friday night, July 13, NAPA and Eagle Beverage will bring Dig Safe New York Night with exciting, close dirt track racing at the Brewerton Speedway.

Last Friday night defending track champion, Matt Sheppard became the first repeat winner after nine straight weeks of different feature winners in the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds. Looking at the point standings, it's going to battle right down to the final points night in late August. The top-five in points, Jimmy Phelps, Billy Decker, Matt Sheppard, Larry Wight and Ryan Phelps are only separated by 56 points.

Also on the race card Friday night will be the Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds, Beaver River Distribution Mod Lites and Anchor Bar & Grill Four Cylinder Super Stocks.

Hot off his big win this past Saturday night at the Daytona International Speedway, defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart will be racing at the "D-Shaped Dirt Demon" Wednesday night, July 18. On that night Stewart will be bringing his Mobil 1/ Armor All/ Office Depot / 410 Sprint Car to take on the UNOH All-Star Circuit Of Champions.

Adult general admission tickets are priced at just $25. Students aged 10 – 16 are $10, with all those 9 and Under Free of charge

Established in 1968, Dig Safely New York promotes an easier, safer digging environment and serves the entire state of New York outside of Long Island and New York City, which is covered by New York City One-Call. The not-for profit organization, located in Syracuse, NY serves as a message handling service for member facility owners and operators, taking information about planned excavations and distributing this information to its membership. It is then the responsibility of each member to mark the location of their underground facilities at the excavation site. Dig Safely New York is not a utility and does not locate any underground facilities.

Gates will open Friday night at 5:30 with the first green flag to wave at 7:30. . Adult grandstand admission will be $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger admitted FREE to the grandstands. Pit admission will be $27 competitors/$30 for non-competitors.
