Syracuse. Com Presents The Popular Family Autograph Night This Friday May 18 At The Brewerton Speedway

BREWERTON, NY May 13, 2012 (By Dave Medler) – This Friday night May 18, longtime Brewerton Speedway supporter Syracuse.Com presents the popular Family Autograph Night at the “D-Shaped Dirt Demon”.

This crowd pleasing event is a chance for all the fans to come on the speedway to meet all their favorite drivers and get up close to all the cars. You will also be able to get autographs, take pictures and receive driver cards and other handouts the drivers have as a thank you, to you the fans for supporting Brewerton Speedway..

On track action will feature, Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds, Beaver River Distribution ESDCA Mod Lites and Anchor Bar & Grill Four Cylinder Super Stocks.

In the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds there have been three different winners in three feature events at one of the toughest tracks in the Northeast to get a win. In the points Jimmy Phelps holds a slim point lead over Billy Decker. Ryan Phelps, Matt Sheppard and Chris Hile are right there in the top-five knocking on the door for a win.

Canadian Ryan Scott leads the way in the Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds.  Do date, Scott has visited victory lane twice and leads the points. No lead is safe when you have Kevan Cook, Chris Fleming, Rich and Rob Keller and others knocking on the door every Friday night.

Only two points separate Sterling Miller and Mike Mullen in the Beaver River Distribution ESDCA Mod Lite standings. With a big field of quality cars each week, picking a winner isn’t easy.

The Anchor Bar & Grill Four Cylinder Super Stocks put on one of the most entertaining events on Friday nights. Zak Petrie, Tim Dunn, Richard Leahey, Jessica Rehead and Chad Dupra lead the way in the point standings.

The Anchor Bar & Grill is the new hot spot for racers and fans to hangout after a night of racing for great fun, food and live entertainment. They are located just minutes from the Brewerton Speedway at 720 county route 37.

Take your ticket stub to the Anchor Bar & Grill after the races and receive a dollar off your first drink.

Gates will open this Friday, May 18 at 5:30 with racing at 7:30. Adult grandstand admission will be $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger admitted FREE to the grandstands. Pit admission is $27 for competitors and $30 for non-competitors.
