BREWERTON, NY…Heavy rains forced Brewerton Speedway Officials to call off the scheduled race program last Friday night at the D-shaped Dirt Demon. The heavy rains left the grounds of the facility under water which would make any chance of race competition during the evening impossible. Professional dirt track auto racing excitement will continue this Friday, July 30 on Military Appreciation Night. All Military I.D. card holders will receive free grandstand admission.
In race competition on Waterfront / Calypso Cay Restaurants Military Appreciation Night will be the DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, Empire State IMCA Modified Series Race, Beaver River Distribution ESDCA Mod Lites, NAPA Late Models and the Four Cylinder Super Stocks. Track gates will open at 5:30 p.m. with race competition starting at 7:30 p.m. Adult admission is only $12 with everyone ages 18 and under admitted for free. Fans and competitors alike should take note of some schedule updates. Syracuse.com Family Autograph Night has been rescheduled for Friday, August 13. The return of the World of Outlaws Late Models 2nd Annual Dirt Demon 50 presented by NAPA will take place on Tuesday, August 24.
