Tropical Storm Brewing In the Caribbean; Will Become Hurricane Harvey Over The Brewerton Speedway October 6 For The Hurricane 100 BB/SB Modified Shootout
Weather experts have spotted a slow moving tropical storm in the Caribbean Islands, and gaining strength by the day. By October 6th it will become a category –seven Hurricane named “Harvey” that will have the eye of the storm directly over the Brewerton Speedway.

On that night SUNY Canton will proudly present the 19th annual “Hurricane 100” paying at least $7,500 to win.  For the first time in the events history the Big Block Modifieds will be included in the lucrative night, making it a true Big Block Modified /Small Block Modified Shootout in a competitively balanced rules format.

Brewerton Speedway weekly Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified drivers are chomping at the bit for this event. This will be the first time they will be able to defend their home turf against all outsiders.

The heats will be paying $100 to win, plus, an exciting “Gamblers Challenge” has also been added to the night. Drivers may take the challenge of $100 that will pay back through the top-ten, with anyone in the top-ten getting at least their $100 back.

With a purse of nearly $30,000 and other incentives, this is sure to be one of the most exciting and lucrative nights in the history of this race.

The highly competitive and always exciting Beaver River Distribution ESDCA Mod Lites will also be on the race card. This class draws regularly around 30 cars, plus look for outsiders from Merrittville and other speedway’s to be in the pits as in years past for this event.

Adult admission will be $25, but fans can look for a $5 off card at Syracuse area NAPA Stores leading up to the event.
