BREWERTON, NY…It will be SUNY Canton ID Night at Brewerton Speedway this Friday, August 27. In race competition will be the DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, IMCA Modifieds, NAPA Late Models, Beaver River Distribution ESDCA Mod Lites, 4 Cylinder Super Stocks plus 1 on 1 Spectator Races. All those with a SUNY Canton ID card will be admitted for free along with everyone 18 years of age and under. Show time is 7:30 p.m.
Jimmy Phelps appears headed to his first ever Brewerton Speedway DIRTcar Big Block Modified Track Championship. Matt Sheppard, Billy Decker, Pat Ward, Ryan Phelps, Alan Johnson, Larry Wight, Jim Witko, Chuck Bower, Michael Storms, Willy Decker, Mike Bowman, Jason Rood, Mike Mahaney and Chad Phelps complete the top 15 in the rankings at the D-shaped Dirt Demon.
Dale Caswell is the current point leader in the IMCA Modified point standings by just eight points ahead of Kevan Cook. Joe Garafolo leads Tim Devendorf in the Beaver River Distribution Mod Lite standings by 17 markers. Caswell appears headed to the first ever NAPA Late Model Track Championship at Brewerton Speedway. Chuck Powelczyk leads Stephen Denton by 40 points in the 4 Cylinder Super Stock standings.
Fans will be able to take to the track this Friday in the 1 on 1 Spectator Races. All drivers must have a pit pass, a helmet and street legal vehicle. Brewerton Speedway gates on Friday, August 27 will open at 5:30 p.m. Race competition on SUNY Canton ID Night will start at 7:30 p.m. For more information please go on line to www.brewertonspeedway.com.
