Matt Sheppard Earns This Weeks NAPA Know How Performer Of The Week After Last To First Win At The Brewerton Speedway

 In one of the most impressive showings in any division in recent memory, Matt Sheppard was the show Friday night at the Brewerton Speedway earning the NAPA Know How Performer of the week honors.

Starting last in the 24 car Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified Feature against one of the toughest weekly fields in the Northeast, Sheppard was in the top-ten by lap 8, top-five by lap 13. After that Sheppard starting picking off top-five cars, moving to the runner-up spot with 10 laps to go.

With Stewart Friesen leading Sheppard rapidly drew in on the leader setting up a tough battle to the finish. Finally on lap 31 Sheppard was able to out run Friesen to the bottom of the speedway and into the lead and the win.

For his performance Sheppard will receive $100 “NAPA Know How Performer of The Week” that is awarded weekly at both Brewerton and Fulton Speedways to one driver that outperforms all others that week across all classes.

The new NAPA Outlaw Speedway Discount Cards are available and are being distributed to active drivers at each speedway. New competitors should see Tara at payoff to acquire theirs... Only drivers that have submitted a Driver Information Sheet with track management are eligible for the card that will provide discounted pricing on most racing related purchases throughout the 2011 race season.

In addition to the discount on purchases, 3% of every dollar spent using the NAPA Racer Discount Card will be returned to Brewerton and Fulton competitors as a NAPA point fund award at the end of the 2011 campaign.
