Double Features Highlight The Action This Friday Night At The Brewerton Speedway Along With The Dean Hubbs Memorial For The Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds

This Friday night June 3rd the Brewerton Speedway will remember a fallen racer Dean Hubbs who lost his life in 1997 with the annual Dean Hubbs Memorial for the Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifiefds.

“Your local Nationwide Insurance Agents are grateful to Brewerton Speedway and race fans to allow us to sponsor the IMCA modified class and the Dean Hubbs Memorial race,” Said Nationwide Insurance agent and IMCA Modified driver Rob Keller about the special night.

The night will start out with the completion of the 35 lap Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified Feature that was stopped on lap 15 when heavy rains moved in the previous Friday night halting the action. The lineup will be, Alan Johnson,  Dan Vauter, Mike Mahaney , Chad Phelps, Tony Steiner, Jim Davis, Matt Fink, Matt Sheppard, Stewart Friesen, Brian Murphy, Mike Bowman, Pat O’Brien, Billy Decker, Jimmy Phelps, Dale Planck, Pat Ward, Ryan Phelps, Willy Decker, Rich Scagliotta, Ryan Bartlett, Larry Wight, Chuck Bower, (1lap down) – Jim Witko, Jason Rood. 

The Sportsman will run their 20 lap feature followed by a complete racing card of Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, Sportsman, Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds, Beaver River Distribution ESDCA Mod Lites and Metalico Four-Cylinder Super Stocks.

There will also be a chance to meet racing heroes of the past as it will also be Old-Timers night. It will be a chance for fans to relive the past that they remember and for young fans to learn the history that helped forge racing into what it is today.

Kids, this will be your chance to show your work as there will be a kid’s poster contest during the night

Gates will open Friday, June 3rd at 5:30 with racing starting at 7:30. Adult grandstand admission will be $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger admitted free to the grandstand.
