Metalico Aluminum Recovery Presents High Speed Racing Action To Start Your Memorial Day Weekend

A new welcome addition to the Brewerton Speedway family in 2011 is Metalico Aluminum Recovery as they are the title sponsor for the Four-Cylinder Super Stocks. This Friday night May 27th they will be the sponsor of a full night of racing at the “D-Shaped Dirt Demon”.

On the race card will be the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, Sportsman, Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds, Beaver River Distribution ESDCA Mod Lites and the Four-Cylinder Super Stocks.

Parity is the word for the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds that boasts the toughest weekly field anywhere in the Northeast. In five races there have been five different winners to date. Last Friday night Willy Decker out raced Matt Sheppard to the checkers winning by a mere 0.137 seconds.

The popular Sportsman will return for their second week of competition. Tim Sears Jr. the teenage driving sensation out of Central Square, NY picked up the win over racing veteran John Scarborough out of Vermont.

Kevan Cook will look to make it two in a row in the Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds.  Chris Fleming, Brandon Carvey, Josh Van Tassel, Rob Keller and others will be looking to write their name on the winner’s check.

Tim Devendorf leads the way in the Beaver River Distribution ESDCA Mod Lites. In a class that averages right around 30 quality cars you never know who will end up in victory lane.

Can anyone stop Stephen Denton in the Metalico Four-Cylinder Super Stocks? This week’s “NAPA Know How” Performer of the week will be looking to make six-wins in a row, an impressive feat in any division.

All kids entering the gates this Friday will receive a free American flag to show their pride on Memorial Day Weekend.

Gates will open this Friday at 5:30 with racing starting at 7:30. Adult grandstand admission will be $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger admitted free to the grandstand.
