Syracuse, NY, March 27, 2011 – Brewerton and Fulton Speedways marketing director Cory Reed shaved his head Sunday afternoon at Kitty Hoynes Irish Pub And Restaurant for a cause he’s 100 percent behind, St Baldricks Pediatric Cancer Research .
“I set out with a goal of $1,000 and exceeded that,” said a happy Reed after getting his new look. Reed also related that over 500 people took part in the day that put Syracuse number-two in the world for St Baldricks Pediatric Cancer research fund raising.
It’s never too late to donate to this great cause as you can always go to www.stbaldricks.org year round to help give all children a chance at a bright future that are fighting cancer.
Brewerton Speedway will swing the gates open on the 2011 season with Big Block Modifeds, IMCA Modifieds, Late Models, Mod Lites and Four Cylinder Super Stocks on Friday April 15th. Action on the “High Banks” of the Fulton Speedway will be Saturday, May 7th.
